Description
The building complex is located within the Old Town of Rethymno, in a special position which is, spatially, one of the entrances to the historic center. In the old existing traditional building, dating from the 19th century, necessary demolition work was carried out for crumbliness obviation, further demolition work due to insufficient structural elements, repair, reinforcement and also new construction of the entire load-bearing masonry and reinforced concret elements (foundation, columns, beams and slabs) and further necessary structural work to converse it into a luxury traditional accommodation. In addition, a building expansion was constructed in order to cover the increased needs for services of the accommodation.
