Description
The three-story stone building is located in the old town of Rethymno (classified as a Historical Monument since 1967 and a Traditional Settlement since 1985) behind the Rimondi Fountain, a monument of the Cretan Renaissance period. The initial construction of the building was carried out in two phases - ground floor around 1800 (Turkish rule) and 1st & 2nd Floors post-war, around 1950.
Τhe company undertook tasks related to the stone elements and load bearing stone masonry of the building. Load bearing stone masonry repaired and reinforced, structural cracks were patched with stone key sand corners were patched and cornerstones, deep grouting and surface grouting with colored custom mortars were carried out, stone elements of interest were restored to their original form and stone surfaces were waterproofed.
